It begins with those who first gave it all away

Lest we soon forget ... a timely way to start a new media engine ... let's dedicate the first of these posts to all of the Americans, soldiers and civilians, who are currently giving their lives to that quite undeclared event that perhaps someday historians will refer to as World War III ...

~

One of the loveliest places to note this is at a small plot of memorial land near the Transdemonic Telegraph Company Office (this, a mere reference made by Henry Miller in his book, "Tropic of Capricorn)(most certainly a Depression Era effort), and in no way is mean't to undermine or underestimate the activities of the local near media monopoly here in Morning Sun ... I'm sure they are quite brilliant at doing things far better than Henry Miller could ever moan about ...

~

Anyway, at this small plot of memorial land in Morning Sun, Iowa, hew memorials have been made to the veterans of all wars ... tall and bright they must of been, the fallen, with flaxen hair and football dreams and hopes of better weathers ... God bless them all, and for the rest of them over there, may they keep their heads low, spirits high and eyes toward their beautiful babies, loves, wives, husbands, families and all ...

~

Coming up next ... why convenience store clerks are the heroes and heroines of real life in America ... our best friends, perhaps, because they know exactly what we desire, day by day ...

~

Another thing that's coming up, alien baby boys, springing up, well-timed better than the Nephiliamites could ever hope, here in Morning Sun ... may the Thunderbirds greet you at night with their clouds of dreamy, dreamy nights ...

~

Death ... and death ... also coming up, if that hurricane blows in too hard up the underarm of America between Florida and Alabama ... good reason not to answer the phone and just run from there ... my fair, fair friends ... surely a good topic as the week rolls on by ...

~

Paranoia ... but not of the schizophrenic kind ... the kind about which organized tries to convert to "normal" when dealing with the "paranormal." Square pegs in round holes, or vice versa, not sure which ... anyway, all human history can be wrapped around the inconvenient truths of those kinds of magical mystery tour mysteries ...

~

Homophobia ... especially for the Lutheran sorts here in eastern Iowa ... poor Catholics, to the west, got here too late and ended up in the tornado zones ... maybe they should have paid better attention to the Presbyterians ...

Sorry if the close attention to local history is a little ... um, academic ... didn't mean to bug ya ...

~

Arachnaphobia ... on the question of why it is the new style of farm machinery freaks me out ... because technology is just advancing better than we poor, poor souls can keep up ...

~

Typos ... are needed ... trust them for signs of human beings in action ...

~

Where can I find the Tibetan Prayer flags in the Wal Mart aisles of the Midwest ... hmmm, doubtful

Love the sun and it will love you back ... Namaste!
